What is CafeQuest?

CafeQuest is a curated café discovery experience. With one map, you get access to 20 of Edmonton’s best independent cafés, each offering a free item worth at least $5, plus side quests, surprises, and community-driven experiences along the way.

How does the CafeQuest Map work?

Once you purchase your CafeQuest Map:

You receive a physical map (either shipped to you, picked up at Felice Cafe, or over the counter at one of the cafes – inventory not guaranteed) highlighting all 20 participating cafés.
Visit cafés at your own pace – no schedules, no pressure.
Present your CafeQuest Map at each café for it to get stamped and to redeem your free item.
Enjoy discovering new neighbourhoods, cafés, and experiences.

Is this a subscription?

Nope.
CafeQuest is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Buy it once, use it at your own pace until the redemption deadline.

How long is the map valid for?

Season 2 of the CafeQuest Map is valid until December 31, 2026.
You don’t need to visit all cafés at once – enjoy them over weeks or months.

What are side quests?

Side quests are optional, fun challenges that add extra value to the experience.
They may include:

Giveaways
Social challenges
Surprise bonuses
Hidden rewards

They’re designed to make exploring Edmonton even more fun – but participation is totally optional.

Do cafés get paid for this?

Yes. CafeQuest is designed by cafés, for cafés:

Profits are shared with participating café partners
Cafés also receive a marketing package
A portion of every map sold goes to charity

We wanted to do this ourselves so we can give right back to our neighbouring cafe’s. This is about supporting local, not discounting it.
